Does VMWare for Windows and Linux have direct access to the physical graphics hardware? A friend would use that instead of Parallels or Boot Camp in a heartbeat if it did. He's a gamer.

I know better than to make to much of the market's verdict on any given week.
long term investors, which seems to be most people commenting here, would do better to look at the market verdict in terms of years. AAPL has broken down through its 50, 100 & 200 day moving average on INCREASING volume. That is a bear signal if ever there was one.
Look back to mid AAPL broke down past its 200 day moving average HOWEVER there was no increase in volume and the stock rebounded. That is a mixed signal.
Whilst I would never buy AAPL, looking at the long term chart I would expect consolidation followed by another fall...how far I don't know. If I look at the 10 year chart on a linear scale, where the price increase of the past 7 years becomes much more dramatic, then 40 dollars looks a good bet....and there seems to be some technical support at 60 dollars.

heya,
At first, I thought it was more stable.
However something seems to have gone wrong with my audio.
iTunes won't start, when I try it brings up an error message:
The iTunes application could not be opened. An unknown error occurred (-200).
There is no sound in Flash videos (Safari or Chrome) is missing, or any sound in Jitsi (VoIP client), or in MPlayer (Video player).
Strangely enough, QuickTime has sound. Have no idea what's going on here.

If there are no chips until 2012, then just give us the iphone 5 now :)
The obvious answer is that iOS 5 is going to be major and is why it is taking awhile (probably iTunes cloud related).

You have implied your own proof. The fact that they are in Court at all should tell you money is not going from the site to the record labels / artists etc.
The only reason the cases have failed is that its not illegal under Russian law. Russian sites are violating international law in making this content available, but international law is very, very difficult to enforce. Especially where the action is legal in the violating nation.

Do we think all the intel sandy bridge processors be available? I'm looking for this screamer inside my new iMac: Intel Core i7-2600K Sandy Bridge 3.4GHz.
Matte screen would be a nice option, even if we have to pay for it. Two Thunderbolt ports please (even though they can be daisy chained, isn't there some latency?)

Apple has great products, but we are going to be experiencing more than a recession. Donald Trump stated that what was going to happen in North America is going to make Russia look like a picnic during world war 2. The CEO of Wall-Street stated two years ago that there will be a world economic crash worse than what happened during the 1930's due to the amount of debt. The European Union Banks stated 1.5 years ago that they were preparing their banks for a world economic collapse. Unfortunately most of us are living the status quo and do not want to acknowledge that our way of life is going to drastically change. Unfortunately even a company as great as Apple will not be able to retain the level of what the stocks are worth even at todays low. My advice is pay of your debts... sell your stocks while you still have money, sell your home and then when the collapse occurs then invest.

Until this speculation is confirmed and Apple reveal what their plans really are, I'll reserve judgement on whether this is value for money or not. But it wouldn't surprise me if they do charge something. To not charge would mean adverts, I'd rather pay a small premium, much like a do with Mobile Me than have adverts. Each to their own though.
