Sooo cute - how is the demeanor and personality? Good apartment dog?
They're really shy at first, like any animal. But when they warm up to you they are extremely loving and loyal but they get jealous if there are other animals around that get any attention.
I had one before with an ex and we had him in an apartment, no problem. He was very easy to train and I was extremely impressed by that. They aren't loud by any means and in this case they max out at 12" from the front paws to the back of the head and weigh ~12 lbs.

Sorry, your answer is nonsense. 300,000 paid downloads means plenty. People paid for the darn thing. People think they want it now. If they want it in the future remains to be seen, but you and I can't determine that.
It does mean plenty - I agree. There are a lot of developers who charge the same or less for their apps which are very popular or provide great functionality that would kill for skyfire's #s. Not to mention - they pulled the app. Who knows what they could have sold if they ignored their server drain.

It also speaks volumes about how many people tolerate/accept that there's no flash on the iPhone but who DO want it. Which I have always used in this sort of discussion. I think jumping on McDonald staff for this is pointless because what would the average person on the street do. Guess what stand by and do nothing and more than likely stare not sure what to do.
Reason why is that is not something we see very often if ever in our lives and it is so outside the norm that we are not sure what to do and we get stuck in a loop trying to figure out what to do. Normally by the time we finally decide to act it is all over. Look at the length of that event. It was over in matter of seconds.
In my personal life I had neighbored who would go at it sometime go at it and one night when I was getting home down the street I could see them yelling at each other and it did not look pretty. I kind of hide out of sight and watch trying to figure out what to do because A) I did not want to be dragged into it as I had to live near these people B) I was not sure what was going on. I saw what look like the guy threw a punch and I knew it took me a good 30 secs to even process the fact of did that really just happen.
Now quickly called the 911 and stated what I saw but I did not want to make a statement to the police as they lived above me and last thing I wanted was people around me being pissed off at me. I just wanted it to end. Cops showed up and I went inside the fight ended and no one was ever the wiser on who called. I never even gave my name to the police.
Point is even though I saw saw the yelling the punch still took me 30 secs to process and I still was not willing to risk my own body to get involved. I have feeling I was among the few out there who would of even really called the cops instead of just walking inside and pretending not to noticed.
As an added bonus the fights above me in the apartment did seem to stop and no more what sounded like someone being slammed around making me wish I called the cops sooner.

I've seen what TB can do and it's great. But what I'm saying is that it will be HARD for TB to step into a USB-dominated computer industry and just kill USB altogether from all angles. Will TB be faster than USB 3.0?...in real world use by 90% of the consumers/prosumers out there? Maybe. Maybe not. It's like asking Bluray to come in and just dominate the DVD market...it's been trying and 3+ years BluRay is doing well, but the average Joe understands he needs to re-purchase all this movies as well as purchase a hi-def tv and stereo receiver to take advantage of all the features of Bluray (I love Bluray, by the way). It's time, money, and not everyone sees the value or HAS A NEED for that value.
Will people throw out all their USB devices and twiddle their thumbs waiting for TB devices other than hard drives (cameras, printers, video cams, keyboards, mice, flash keys,)? No. Of course not.

The ability to do things like that is what makes TB really stand out a something much better than USB has the capabilities to do.

It was on a slope. I used a guide line in Photoshop and rotated the original photo 0.9 degrees CCW to remove the slope. Check my photo vs. the original.

Photoshop will enhance/correct photos when levelling so by rotating it you are distorting the image, thus making the results invalid. Its simply not possible to get an accurate result on an image you've had to distort.
Either way, this is a pointless argument/analysis as its impossible to tell without being able to physically put a few iPhones from different batches together to get a real physical comparison.

AAPL will recover, but perhaps not soon. The markets are in a state of confusion right now (I can imagine that this week was one roller coaster for day traders! :eek:), but Apple is a solid company with solid earnings, solid growth forecasts, and a solid roadmap for the near future.
I mean, it's not as if Apple is taking on suspect mortgages...:p

Apple, we all know the mouse is dead... stop wasting time coding mac apps to look like iPad apps and coding mac os to operate like iOS, just do the obvious: ditch the mac platform all together! Make larger iOS devices that allow for the manipulation of iOS apps in windowed form and there you go, desktop operating environment with iOS.

Whatever dude. 2Ghz\2GB RAM\256MB Video\160GB HD and there is NOTHING instantaneous about Parallels at all. It takes anywhere from 1-2 minutes to resume a session and another 2+ minutes to suspend it. This is with multiple images, several OS X installs, and I know how to tweak Windows with the best of them.
Sounds like you're not talking about Parallels starting up, but a virtual machine either resuming or starting up from scratch. For me WinXP starts in about 15 seconds on a 2.16Ghz 2GB RAM or about 2 minutes if resuming. But that has NOTHING to do with Cocoa, QT, Carbon or what not. The difference between those frameworks in speed is in milliseconds and would have nothing to do with the above. Those would have everything to do with file writing to disk.
I can say that when Parallels has its VM Flags set to VM Cache as the primary caching logic, its disk speed is near native, but OS X apps slow down dramatically. Change that to Mac OS X primary caching logic and the VM's disk access slows down noticeably, but not horribly.

The best asset that T-Mobile USA has is its network.
AT&T will no doubt want to use that eventually - it's probably the main reason that they're buying it.
T-Mobile's 3G coverage is solely on the AWS band.
A future iPhone that could use all of the bands that AT&T/T-Mobile USA owns would provide a real boost for AT&T. It would expand their network coverage with minimal cost and no hassle of waiting for planning rules etc.
