I get about the same drop rate or worse in the DC Metro area. I also have friends on AT&T that have their text messages go to the wrong person. Thinking seriously of getting a Verizon BB and an iPod Touch to replace my iPhone. :(:(:( Sorry :apple:
Be careful. iPhone's superior web access is the future. I've been using a BlackBerry on Verizon and, although it's superior to many others, the iPhone's web superiority makes it so much more useful, that I'm migrating TO an iPhone. I'm just waiting until my contract breaking fee goes down a notch. I know I have company. RIM's sales are starting to sag somewhat while iPhone's are soaring. ATT is not my favorite network, but they will get better. The problem right now is that the iPhone is more advanced than the rest of the industry. Its users benefit, except when ATT's inadequacies get in the way.

Man, this is getting annoying. battery drain came with 4.3 and was somewhat improved after 4.3.1. Now its back with a vengence. What does it take for Apple to get on this?

I find it funny that if this was a physical calendar on my desk, those "remnants of torn-off pages" added for additional realism would irritate me and I would pick them off to have a nice clean surface. However, as a digital representation, I like it better because they're there.

The current Apple TV is a great product at a great price. They just need to expand on it by adding more features and more capability. Open it up for apps, especially when combined with an iPod Touch, iPad, iPhone and you could have an amazing product.

Well, first of all, when I say iPod, I am including all things music/movies, iTV, etc. To put it very simply, I wish Apple would use more of the innovative spirit that is going into their "entertainment" branch and put it back into their computers.

Sounds like a "who cares?" kind of thing, but that's actually kind of a big deal if it creates case fragmentation. Not good. Hopefully inaccurate.
I'm sure Apple doesn't care wether or not 3rd party case manufactures have to change their cases because of their iPhone.

What's with all the developers that won't do Universal Apps?
If you're supporting both platforms anyway, it's actually far less code, and less testing to just do a Universal App. (I know, I've done two of them so far.)
So I can charge more money for 2 platforms! Thats why (I think) the SlingPlayer app will not be universal. If you want to get the iPhone and iPad app it will be $60 instead of $30

:DOnly way i'm getting this phone is if I walk in apple and can swap my black one either easily or by bull****ing a defect and asking for white. otherwise iPhone 5 is worth the wait even if its not soon, I mean phones are usually in our pockets anyway....when they are not, i usually look at my screen...:D

Indeed. This is silly--upgrade eligibility is usually (always?) phone-independent. AT&T has in the past waived or shortened upgrade eligibility so that people can immediately buy the new iPhone model. But they aren't going to extend it solely because of the release date of one phone.
More likely the OP (or reporter) dropped a line of service or some services and because his spend went down his upgrade eligibility is no longer "early' and instead is at the usual two years.

Hum, you have no idea what Fiber channel is if you seriously claim that. Fiber channel is a networking protocol for storage essentially, Thunderbolt is a host based technology. Call me when Thunderbolt can be switched, redundant, do LUN provisioning and can be extended over a MAN to offer multi-site storage.

Of course they'll charge for it. This kind of stuff will pile up fast. No free lunch. On the upside, there's increased level of accountability and service. Apple will be accountable to your dollar.

A TV which is 3D capable, LED backlighted, full HD, 47 inch to 55 inch and a HDMI port, which is pretty much a standard, for my PS3; that acts as a 3D blu ray player and a great, better than the xbox, games console. I haven't decided which one, yet.
